I’ve been digging thru images from winter 2013 and I found this intriguing shot. This rough legged hawk had just finished off a field mouse and appears to be thinking about finding another one. The spot where I photographed rough legged hawks for about 5 years has been plowed under for what undoubtedly will be another strip mall.
