Same redhead duck in a different pose during his courtship display. The head toss is is very fast and you have to be ready for him!

The drake redhead duck throws his head back and spits water to lure the hens toward him.

I’m lucky enough to have 3 osprey nests within 10 minutes of my house!

It was about 1000 degrees out when I snapped this redheaded woodpecker sweating.

I had the good fortune of having this redheaded woodpecker land on a log right next to the road by Cedar Creek.
